经费被砍后，美国国务院“全球空气质量监测”项目停摆

        据美国《华盛顿邮报》3月4日报道，美国国务院已经在当天宣布终止“全球空气质量监测”项目，美国的驻外使领馆将停止对外继续公布当地空气质量监测数据。

        美国国务院发言人表示，终止该计划的原因是“预算问题”。据《纽约时报》报道，该项目此前采集的历史数据应对外开放至本月底。但进入相关网页后，系统只会显示“该页面不存在”的报错信息。

        据了解，美国国务院的该项目于2008年启动后，超过80个国家的美国使领馆都安装了空气质量传感器，并持续向外界公布数据。

        《华盛顿邮报》还补充道：此前特朗普政府还采取了其他限制环境监测和气候相关科学研究的行动，不过目前还不清楚马斯克领导的美国政府效率部（DOGE部）是否和此事有关。
